I was hoping to become a patient of this office (the website is very well put together and I like online service options) but when I called the office I was put in hold, then told that I needed to complete AND RETURN all of the new patient information BEFORE my appointment would be scheduled to see if they would even take me as a patient. Is this standard? I was honestly a little offended. Did this mean no one in the practice was accepting patients? What criteria do they look at to determine whether they'll accept me or not? I told the receptionist I'd keep searching and she basically said "ok bye!". I'm a little disappointed she didn't give me more information or at least explain the process a little better to help me understand. Anyway, on to the next one! :)
The doctors here are great. Problem is the front staff and labs. Very slow. Very unorganized. My first doctor just left to go to another office. Will miss him, but can't say I blame him. Also, I was called and told my results were ready for pick up (work related forms) yet when I get there they are no where to be found. Waited over 15 mins for them finally to just reprint my results.
Dr.Machado is a wonderful doctor. Very kind and explains everything to me perfectly. Can depend on her if I have any questions!
I have been coming here for years. The doctors and employees are nice but there is always a long wait here.
I have been a patient od Dr. Lambert for 6 years. Don't expect to walk into this office and be out in 30 minutes to an hour. Wait times are longer than with other groups. However do expect expert care. The staff is friendly and exceptionally skilled. I have had several medical emergencies in the last couple of years and I was always able to be seen by Dr. Lambert that day. You couldn't find a better medical practice than Center for Primary Care North Augusta.
